Our story

Founded in 2025, SZ Catering Food Truck started with a simple but bold idea — to blend the heart of our traditional flavors with the irresistible punch of Western street food.

We grew up surrounded by the rich tastes of home, but we also loved the crispy, cheesy, saucy magic of Western comfort food. So, we decided to bring both together — not just to serve meals, but to share a story of culture, creativity, and connection.

From our signature Mandalar Fried Chicken and Shan-style cheesy meatballs, to classics like buffalo chicken, fish and chips, and loaded nachos, our menu reflects who we are — a mix of where we come from and where we’re going. Every dish is a balance of tradition and trend, crafted to make you feel both at home and inspired to try something new.

Our team

At the heart of SZ Catering Food Truck is a tight crew who share one thing in common — a love for good food and even better vibes. We’re more than just a team; we’re a family that built this truck from the ground up with passion, hustle, and late-night cooking sessions that never seem to end.

From Mr. Zayar (aka Leo), our head chef and founder, who embarked on this culinary journey in 2025 with a vision to harmonise flavours from East and West, to Mr. Hein, who keeps the kitchen humming and the food flowing, we strive to ensure every order is perfect and every customer leaves with a smile. We capture the essence of SZ – the food, the people, and the vibrant street energy that defines our restaurant.

Together, we keep things real, fun, and full of flavor. We work hard, laugh loud, and never stop experimenting with new ideas. Every meal that comes out of our window has a bit of each of us in it — the teamwork, the creativity, and the heart that makes SZ what it is today.
